Our big news is that Kian is getting her first tooth! You can see it right at the gum line poking through and you can definitely feel it when she bites on your finger. We also think she is working on a second one, but we have yet to see that one. Kian's new tooth makes her a little grumpy, though.Kian has successfully rolled over from her back to her stomach and from her stomach to her back; however, she does not like it one bit. She tries very hard to stop herself from rolling over and cries when she does rollover. Kian's greatest desire right now is to be able to sit up. She is doing a very good job sitting up with some help and it will not be long before she can sit up on her own. This is what she spends her time trying to do instead of rolling over.
Last month we tried to cut back on Kian's meds and it did not work out so well. We had to put her back on all three off her stomach meds. We are trying to keep the dosages the same and not increasing them as she gains weight. Some days she is only getting 3 doses instead of 4 and is doing OK, but we were not able to eliminate any of the stomach meds.
The Landon's came to visit this month and to meet Kian. We had a great time hanging out and visiting and Kian loves her Aunt Julia and did not cry when Uncle John held her.

Kian has been introduced to the world of food and so far she weighs in as follows, Carrots: Yucky, Sweet Potatoes: OK, Peas: Disgusting, Pears: OK, Applesauce: OK, Green Beans: Super Yummy! She did not care for cereal at all.

Kian has also graduated to using a sippy cup...although, she chews on it more than she actually sips from it, but she is lear
ning. Kian also loves Sonic cups and gets excited anytime one is near.
